Texas Process Server Bond — JBCC Certification Requirement
The Judicial Branch Certification Commission (JBCC) requires all certified process servers in Texas to maintain a $1,000 surety bond as part of their OCA certification. Certified process servers are authorized to serve civil process under Texas Rules of Civil Procedure 103 and 536a.
